Indie Game: The movie

This documentary follows the development process of three games on the Xbox; Braid, Super Meat Boy and Fez. The last of which I have not played yet but the first two are really amazing games and are worth looking into. Thanks to the crew at WBIT, I had the chance to watch the movie (they are not responsible for making the movie, I just won a contest and they sent me the movie). Right now the only places to get the movie are at the Indie game the movie website, iTunes and Steam. The movie gives a good insight into indie game development and something worth watching if you want to get into the industry or have a love of gaming.

Nintendo is last of the big three to do their conference. It was filled with WiiU and MARIO!! The only new console to be shown at E3 and it is somewhat better than I thought it would be.

Gaming History

Long time ago in a far off blog I come up with an amazing idea, but I never followed up on it. So why not repost the idea and see if I will actually do it this time, here is to hoping that it will come fruition

Okay, while I was roaming downtown I starting to think about gaming industry a a whole. The start with pong to the gaming crash, the rise of gaming, and now the mass media blowout day one gaming is having. I thought it will be good to go back and see how things first started. Hence the name of the new section: “The Birth of”. Right now I have a bunch of ideas that I want to start with some of them being:
– Nintendo and Mario
– Kojima and Metal Gear
– Playstation
– Motion Gaming

Right now these will be coming in the future in no real order aside from the fact it is the one I feel like talking about right now.
